From the airports
From John Wayne Airport a taxi or ride-hailing car is quick and reasonably priced. From LAX, pre-booked shared shuttles and private transfers compete with ride-hailing; with a family and luggage a private car is often worth it. Allow generous time for the return journey to LAX in the afternoon rush.
By train or car
Anaheim’s railway station, known as ARTIC, is about 5 km (3 miles) from the resort beside the baseball stadium; local shuttles and taxis connect it with the hotel district. If you drive, Disney’s car parks charge a daily fee and are linked to the gates by tram or on foot. Many nearby hotels charge for parking too, and from most of them you can simply walk.
Getting around locally
- Hotels along Harbor Boulevard and Katella Avenue are within a 5- to 20-minute walk of the park entrance.
- Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) buses link most area hotels with the parks; buy a day pass in the app.
- The Disneyland Monorail connects Tomorrowland with Downtown Disney for park ticket holders.
- Ride-hailing has dedicated pick-up and drop-off zones near the entrance.
- Rent a car just for the day you go to the beaches or to San Juan Capistrano.
